It also explains how your personal information is used, shared and protected, what choices you have regarding your personal information, and how to contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our services or for other operational, legal reasons.

What data and why?

  • personal information, including gender, place of residence, date of birth and purchase history;
  • payment or credit card information
  • personal preferences, including, for example, a wish list and marketing and cookie preferences.

Most of the personal data we collect is used to process your order of our products to fulfil the (purchase) agreement. We need your data for the:

  • Order and payment process;
  • Delivery of the order;
  • Informing you about your order (by e-mail);
  • Returning, exchanging or guaranteeing the order;
  • Processing any refunds;
  • Supporting our customer service team with any questions.

We also use your information to provide you with a good (customer) service. For example, we look at your order history in your online account on the Platform or your visit to Blueteesgolf.co.uk. We use your order history for the user friendly design of our websites and in our communication through newsletters and digital marketing channels.

The Platform is not intended for persons under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect personal data from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us through Customer Service to request deletion of this data.

Access

Some employees of Blueteesgolf.co.uk need access to your personal data, for example to ship your order.

Employees only have access to your data when strictly necessary. Furthermore, all your data is well secured. Passwords are encrypted and therefore not visible to employees or third parties and all our systems have access control. Any test environments of our systems do not contain personal data.

 We have a number of partners with whom we work. For example, we send our packages via mail carriers (including DHL, PostNL) and the payment or refund of your order is processed by payment processors (banks or credit card companies).

 We also have a number of other parties with whom we collaborate, such as IT suppliers, accountants and marketing partners. To ensure that your data is in safe hands with these parties, we have so-called "processor agreements". In these processing agreements we specify the purpose of processing your data and make arrangements regarding, for example, the retention period of your data. Until a processing agreement is signed, a partner will not receive any personal data from us. This is to ensure that your data is not disclosed or used for purposes for which you have not given permission.
